Contact Us

We would love to hear from you. Whether you have a question about a training guide, need a little encouragement during a challenging puppy phase, or just want to share a victory, our inbox is always open. You are not bothering us. You are the reason this site exists.

At Bright Hound Academy, we believe that no dog owner should ever feel alone or lost. Training can be humbling, messy, and full of unexpected detours. We are here to walk that path with you.

How to Reach Us

The best way to contact us is by email. We read every single message and do our best to respond within two business days.

Email: hello@brighthoundacademy.com

When you write to us, please include a little context. Tell us about your dog, their age, breed or mix if you know it, and what you are working on or struggling with. The more we know, the more helpful we can be. If your question is about a specific behavior problem, letting us know what you have already tried is incredibly useful.

What to Expect When You Reach Out

You will not get a one-size-fits-all template response. You will get a real person who genuinely cares about you and your dog. We might ask follow-up questions, point you toward a specific guide on the site, or offer a few fresh ideas to try. We will never judge your training history, your dog’s quirks, or the moments you are not proud of. We have all been there. Seriously. We have cleaned up the same messes and cried the same tears.

If your question falls outside our scope, such as a medical concern or a severe behavioral issue requiring in-person intervention, we will be honest with you. We will recommend that you consult your veterinarian or connect with a certified force-free professional in your area. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first.

Work With Us

Are you a certified positive reinforcement trainer, a veterinary professional, or a fellow writer passionate about kind, science-based dog training? We occasionally collaborate with guest contributors whose values align perfectly with our own. If you would like to explore writing for Bright Hound Academy, send us an email with the subject line “Collaboration Inquiry.” Please include a brief introduction, your credentials, and a writing sample or link to your work.

We also welcome inquiries from shelters, rescues, and non-profit organizations seeking educational content for their adopters. If we can help your community by sharing our resources, we will do everything we can to make that happen.

Follow the Conversation

Join our growing community of kind dog owners on social media. We share daily training tips, behind-the-scenes peeks at our own dogs, and a steady stream of puppy pictures that will make you smile on even the hardest days.

Tag us in your training wins. We love seeing your dogs nail their stays, conquer their fear of the vacuum, or simply snooze peacefully in an open crate. Those moments are what this is all about.

A Note Before You Go

If you are writing to us in a moment of frustration, please know this: you are a good owner. The very fact that you are seeking help proves it. Puppies are not pre-programmed with perfect manners. Adult rescue dogs carry histories we can only guess at. Training takes time, and every setback is just information for the next attempt.

Take a deep breath. Hug your dog. Then send us that email. We will figure it out together.

Bright Hound Academy. Train with heart.
